Kirk joined Murphy as President & CEO in May 2023. He is only the second non-family member to lead the company in its 120+ year history. Kirk brings over 30 years of supply chain experience to the team, most recently as the Chief Solutions and Growth Officer of Shorr Packaging Corp. Kirk is also past President of Jacobson Companies (XPO).

His vast expertise includes warehousing, strategic planning, process improvement, negotiation, budgets, supply chain management, forecasting, mergers, contract negotiation, change management, and financial analysis.

Kirk holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Business Administration and Sociology from Coe College.
